Civil Disputes...

Understand and coping with a dispute of any nature can be challenging and stressful...

With over 40 years, dealing with all manner of disputes allied to our combined wealth of experience in resolving personal issues between the best of friends, couples, neighbours, employees in the workplace or that inevitable tussle with authority, we aim to take the stress out of any difficult situation you may encounter.

We will explain in simple understandable language the options available to you for the problem you face or the positives to the route you wish to pursue. We will clarify how the law can aid you, emphasise the positives and the potential outcomes of the path you may choose to take so that you know what to expect, and to guide you as to the realistic time frame for the matter to be resolved.

Our specialist advisors will assess the strength of your case, will advise you in respect of a best course of action, discuss your options at length and the anticipated costs involved, allowing you can make an informed decision on how best for you personally to proceed with your matter.

If the involvement of the courts is required then we will guide you through what the various stages of that particular process are, and keep you abreast of your current position should you wish to change your path.

Different types and manner of civil actions are dealt with in certain specific courts or tribunals. Once we understand the nature of your issue we will be able to advise you which court is likely to hear the matter, and how the various courts and tribunals follow different civil rules and procedures.

Mediation...

Thankfully not every dispute wends its way before a Judge in a Courtroom, and mediation can often be the answer to the initially unconceivable resolution between two individuals, contracted companies at loggerheads or those individuals and corporations in dispute with a commercial governing authority or government department.

Often a letter from the solicitor, stating your position will bring a resolution to the fore without the need for protracted, unnecessary and costly court litigation.

Sanctuary Law will always endeavor to ascertain from our clients if mediation is possible at every stage of a dispute process, as we believe where fences can be mended, relationships salvaged and reaffirmed, and even where finality is still required, that such resolution can be achieved through mutual respect, dialogue and consensus for the benefit of all the parties and individuals involved.
